Welcome to the Official Divergent Server! Our goal is to provide a friendly, balanced, and enjoyable multiplayer survival experience.
We've selected quality-of-life mods to improve gameplay, including expanded inventory options and additional enhancements, while preserving the core survival challenge.

These rules protect players, preserve the world, and help everyone enjoy a fair and cooperative multiplayer experience.
⚠️ Please Note:
Our Administrators and Moderators are volunteers who dedicate their
own time to supporting the community. Harassment, abuse, trolling,
or disrespect towards staff members will not be tolerated.
Know the rules:
Claiming you were unaware of the rules is not an acceptable excuse.
If you accidentally break a rule, contact a member of staff promptly
and be honest about what happened.
Fair Play
Play fairly, respect fellow survivors, and avoid actions that undermine the experience or stability of the server.
Protect the Community
Respect staff, follow reasonable instructions, and report suspected cheating or serious rule violations directly to staff.
⚖️ General Server Rules
The server preserves the sandbox nature of the game while maintaining fairness, stability, and long-term world performance.
- Follow all published server rules and guidelines.
- Be honest if you accidentally break a rule and contact staff.
- Respect other players, their property, and their progress.
- Follow reasonable instructions from authorised staff members.
- Do not exploit loopholes to gain an unfair advantage.
- Report suspected cheating or serious problems directly to staff.
❌ Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly forbidden on the server.
Exploits & Cheating
- Duping or duplicating items.
- Using X-ray exploits.
- Abusing game bugs or glitches, including invisibility glitches.
- Using third-party cheats, trainers, or software that provides an unfair advantage.
- Using flying or similar exploits to bypass normal gameplay.
Staff Impersonation
- Do not pretend to be an Administrator.
- Do not impersonate a Moderator or Developer.
- Do not claim to hold an official staff role you have not been given.
- Do not mislead players by pretending to represent the server team.
🏗️ Building Restrictions
Build responsibly and leave room for other players to explore and enjoy the world.
Where You May Build
- Do not build inside Points of Interest (POIs).
- Do not build inside prefab structures.
- Do not claim POIs as private bases.
- Do not build within 200 blocks of any trader.
- Do not build in water or create floating bases.
- Do not block or obstruct public roads.
Structural Restrictions
- Do not use vault doors, hatches, bike frames, or other unintended blocks as structural base components.
- Do not use unintended building mechanics to bypass normal construction limitations.
Farms, Mining & Trees
- Leave at least a one-block gap between every 5×5 section of farm plots when expanding large farms.
- Do not mine areas larger than 5×5×5 (125 blocks).
- Plant no more than five trees per player.
Building reminder:
Check your surroundings before placing a base. Trader distances,
POI boundaries, and public routes must be respected.
📦 Loot & World Preservation
Keep the world playable and preserve access to loot for other survivors.
- Do not intentionally destroy loot or containers inside POIs to prevent other players from accessing them.
- Do not deliberately damage the world to spoil other players' experience.
- Leave shared areas and points of interest in a playable state.
- Respect the shared survival environment and other players' progress.
🛑 PvP, Griefing & Theft
This is a cooperative community. Protect other players and their property.
No Player Killing or Traps
- Do not kill other players.
- Do not set traps designed to kill or injure players.
- Do not intentionally sabotage another player's survival.
No Theft or Griefing
- Do not steal from player bases.
- Do not damage or grief another player's property.
- Do not take items from another player's dropped backpack after death.
- Do not access personal donor traders intended for private use.
🎒 Dropped backpacks:
If you find another player's backpack, leave it untouched.
🧟 Horde Bases
Design your defences thoughtfully and consider the wider community.
Zombie Pathfinding Designs
Bases designed to manipulate zombie pathfinding are currently allowed. However, these designs may be viewed negatively by other community members.
Please be considerate when designing your builds and remember that maintaining a positive community experience matters.
🤝 Community Reminder
Stay safe, be considerate, and help create a friendly multiplayer environment.
- Do not add players as friends unless you know and trust them.
- Always be cautious when interacting with people online.
- Treat new players with respect and help them where possible.
- Contact staff if you need assistance with a problem.
💬 Chat Rules — Discord & In-Game
Friendly conversation is encouraged. Harassment, toxicity, and intentionally provoking other people are not acceptable.
Communication Guidelines
- Use respectful language.
- Keep conversations friendly.
- Follow staff instructions.
- Respect the chain of command.
- Report suspected cheating directly to staff.
- Keep discussions appropriate for all players.
Unacceptable Behaviour
- Offensive usernames or nicknames.
- Racist, sexist, homophobic, or discriminatory language.
- Harassment or abuse towards staff or players.
- Advertising other servers, Discord communities, or external services.
- Excessive toxicity or hostile trash talking.
- NSFW, obscene, vulgar, or graphic images, videos, memes, or content.
- Political or religious debates that create conflict within the community.
- Intentionally provoking arguments or disrupting chat.

Rule violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent removal from the server.
Depending on the severity and circumstances of the offence, staff may issue one or more of the following:

Staff decisions:
Moderation decisions are made with the aim of protecting the
community and keeping the server fair, stable, and enjoyable.
If you believe a punishment was issued incorrectly, contact the
team respectfully through the appropriate community channel.

Every player contributes to the atmosphere of the server. Treat others with respect, help new players where possible, and remember that everyone is here to enjoy the game.
