Welcome to the Official Divergent DayZ Server, where survival is built around cooperation, exploration, and meaningful player interactions.

Our server is a strictly PvE-only experience. PvP has been disabled, and players must work together to explore the world, build communities, trade, and survive the dangers of Chernarus.

🚫 PvP & Hostile Behaviour Rules

Player-versus-player combat and intentional hostility are prohibited everywhere on the server.

🚫 NO PvP — NO EXCEPTIONS
PvP has been disabled on the server. Players cannot authorise combat by mutual agreement. There are no PvP-by-agreement exceptions.

Prohibited Hostile Actions

  • Killing players or deliberately attempting to kill them.
  • Shooting at players or attacking them with melee weapons.
  • Intentionally running players over with vehicles.
  • Robbing players or taking their possessions by force.
  • Holding players hostage, threatening, or intimidating them.
  • Deliberately injuring another player or intentionally causing their death.
  • Setting traps intended to harm players.
  • Intentionally damaging another player's vehicle.
  • Any other intentional hostile action against another player.
Accidental incidents: Report accidental incidents to staff when necessary so they can be reviewed appropriately.

🛡️ Safe Zones

Safe zones provide places to trade, socialise, and meet fellow survivors.

  • Trade safely with other survivors.
  • Meet other players and form communities.
  • Purchase equipment where available.
  • Relax and socialise in designated areas.

No Hostility

Hostile actions are prohibited in safe zones and throughout the entire server. Safe zones do not create exceptions to the server-wide PvE policy.

All players are expected to follow these guidelines while playing on Official Divergent.

Player Conduct

  • Treat every member of the community with respect.
  • Do not harass, bully, discriminate against, or deliberately ruin another player's experience.
  • Avoid excessive toxicity and hostile behaviour.
  • Respect other players' roleplay and community activities.

  • Use English in global and public chat channels.
  • Keep public communication understandable for staff and other players.
  • Use respectful language when asking for help or reporting an issue.

No Cheating or Exploits

  • No hacks or ESP.
  • No aimbots or other cheating software.
  • No item duplication (duping).
  • No script abuse or glitch exploitation.
  • No third-party software that provides unfair advantages.
Players caught cheating may receive an immediate permanent ban.

Appropriate Names

Character names, territories, and base names must remain appropriate. Offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate names may require changes or lead to moderation action.

💰 No Compensation Policy

Please understand this policy before beginning your survival journey.

NO COMPENSATION WHATSOEVER.
Official Divergent operates under a strict no-compensation policy. Staff will not replace, restore, refund, reimburse, or compensate players for lost items, gear, vehicles, money, bases, or progression.

Losses Covered by This Policy

The policy includes, but is not limited to:

  • Server crashes.
  • Bugs or glitches.
  • Mod issues.
  • Server restarts.
  • Server wipes or rollbacks.
  • Vehicle losses.
  • Lost gear or items.
  • Accidental deaths.
  • Player mistakes.
  • Character issues.
  • Database issues.
  • Lost money or progression.
  • Base or structure losses.
  • Any other form of gameplay loss.
There are no exceptions to this policy. By playing on the server, you acknowledge and accept that gameplay losses are permanent and will not be compensated by staff.

🏠 Base Rules

Respect the time and effort other players invest in their homes and settlements.

No Base Raiding

  • No raiding or breaking into bases.
  • No destroying player structures.
  • No stealing items from player bases.
  • No intentionally damaging player storage.
  • No deliberately interfering with another player's base.

Building Restrictions

  • Do not build near trader safe zones.
  • Garden plots are not permitted near traders.
  • Follow any additional building restrictions announced by staff.
Check local restrictions before choosing a base location.

🚗 Vehicle Rules

Park responsibly and respect other survivors' vehicles.

  • Vehicles left unattended inside safe zones may be removed by staff to keep these areas clear and accessible.
  • Do not intentionally steal another player's vehicle.
  • Do not damage or destroy another player's vehicle.
  • Do not block or deliberately obstruct another player's vehicle.
Vehicle losses are not eligible for compensation under any circumstances.

💰 Trading Rules

Honest trading helps maintain a strong and friendly community economy.

Safe Trading

Trading should take place inside designated safe zones whenever possible. Use these areas to buy and sell items, meet traders, exchange supplies, and form communities.

Respect Trades

  • Do not scam other players.
  • Do not steal during trades.
  • Do not deliberately deceive another player during an exchange.

Lost items, money, or assets from trades will not be compensated by staff.

🎭 Immersive Roleplay

Create a survivor story that makes your time in Chernarus memorable.

Players are welcome to develop unique survivor stories and interact naturally with others. Become a trader, medic, hunter, mechanic, farmer, explorer, or simply a survivor trying to make it through another day.

Roleplay is encouraged, but not mandatory. Respect other players' stories and avoid intentionally disrupting their experience. Roleplay never overrides the PvE rules: player combat and hostile actions remain prohibited.

  • Follow staff instructions.
  • Report issues respectfully.
  • Use Discord to appeal decisions or report rule violations.
  • Avoid arguing with staff during active situations.
  • Report suspected PvP or hostile behaviour to staff.

Enforcement

Depending on the severity of an offence, staff may issue:

  • Verbal warning.
  • Official warning.
  • Temporary ban.
  • Character reset.
  • Base removal.
  • Permanent ban.
Serious violations: Intentional PvP or serious violations of the PvE rules may result in immediate permanent removal from the server. Repeated offences may result in escalating punishments.
Staff decisions: Staff moderation decisions are made to protect the community. If you disagree with a decision, contact the team respectfully through the appropriate channel. Staff do not provide compensation for player losses.
